SENTENCED FOR MANSLAUGHTER
After the long awaited hustle for Reeva steenkamp to get justice
for her unlawful murder by Oscar Pistorius, Pistorius today has been convicted
for murdering his former girlfriend on Valentine’s Day 2013.
However he was not in
the supreme court of appeal this morning when the judgment of the five jury for
manslaughter was made.
He was therefore ordered to return to court to face sentencing
in the New Year

The police Division of Abotio Abule
Egba yesterday, have arrested and arraigned a fake prophet Kayode Korede before
an Ogba Chief Magistrate court sitting in Ikeja.
It was gathered that he defrauded
the sum of N100,000 belonging to one Uju Nnwosu which was for prayers to enable her bear children and protection.
According to the victim she said,
“ he came to my shop sometimes in October 2015 and told me that there are two babies crying
in the left and right side of my womb , he said that he was a prophet and would
do some prayers for me. He also asked me to
ALHAJA STEALS 2 MILLION NAIRA
An Ogba Chief Magistrate court sitting in Ikeja has arraigned a 50 years old Alhaja Silifat Olujimi for allegedly stealing.
Our correspondent gathered that the defendant who was
alleged to have stolen the sum of N2, 000,000 had entered into a business
agreement to buy and supply cows for Unilever Nigeria Plc. It was however
gathered that she had also issued a bank cheaque of Skye Bank that was
dishonored due to insufficient fund in her account to one Alhaja Odebiyi Bunmi.
The defendant is however facing a three count charge boarding on stealing , fraud and pretence
The prosecutor
inspector peter Nwangwu told the
court that the offence was committed
between the month of April and august
2015 at about 10am at Alausa in Ikeja.

When the charges were read to the hearing of Alhaja Silifat,
she pleaded not guilty to the three count charge.
The prosecutor fathered added that the offence committed was
contrary to and punishable under Section 285, 321, 319(b) and Section 312(1)
(b) (3) of the Criminal Laws of Lagos state of 2011.
The presiding magistrate Mr T.O Oshomade how ever granted
her bail of N1, 000,000 with two sureties in like some .
The magistrate thereafter adjourned the case to December 16
2015.
