An Ogba Chief Magistrate court sitting in Ikeja has arraigned a 50 years old Alhaja Silifat Olujimi for allegedly stealing.
Our correspondent gathered that the defendant who was
alleged to have stolen the sum of N2, 000,000 had entered into a business
agreement to buy and supply cows for Unilever Nigeria Plc. It was however
gathered that she had also issued a bank cheaque of Skye Bank that was
dishonored due to insufficient fund in her account to one Alhaja Odebiyi Bunmi.
The defendant is however facing a three count charge boarding on stealing , fraud and pretence
The prosecutor
inspector peter Nwangwu told the
court that the offence was committed
between the month of April and august
2015 at about 10am at Alausa in Ikeja.

When the charges were read to the hearing of Alhaja Silifat,
she pleaded not guilty to the three count charge.
The prosecutor fathered added that the offence committed was
contrary to and punishable under Section 285, 321, 319(b) and Section 312(1)
(b) (3) of the Criminal Laws of Lagos state of 2011.
The presiding magistrate Mr T.O Oshomade how ever granted
her bail of N1, 000,000 with two sureties in like some .
The magistrate thereafter adjourned the case to December 16
2015.
